A PICT file is a graphics image format developed by Apple for the classic Mac OS. It was the native format for QuickDraw, Apple’s original 2D graphics system, and supports both raster (bitmap) and vector graphics in a single file. PICT can store images from 1-bit (monochrome) up to 32-bit (RGB + alpha) color depth.
